Boston
Syska’s Boston office opened in 1982, and quickly acquired such notable clients as Harvard University, the University of Vermont, Westin Hotel, and the Museum of Fine Arts. In the decades that followed, we have built a robust client base, working on a diverse array of projects, including offices, data centers, hospitals, universities, hotels, museums, retail facilities, and aquariums. The services we provide from our Boston office have also expanded from MEP engineering to vertical transportation, information and communication technology, commissioning, and sustainability.
Clients & Projects
The Boston team works with a wide range of clients, such as Middleton Family Medicine, Cornell University, the Mitsubishi Electric Research Laboratories (MERL), the Dana Farber Cancer Center, as well as several confidential data center clients. One of our recent noteworthy projects includes core and shell design and tenant fit-out services to convert the four-story One Alewife Center office building to laboratory and research space. Another notable project is taking place now: We are working with Verizon to develop long-term strategic decarbonization roadmaps for buildings in Boston and Cambridge.
