Syska first branched out to the Richmond area in 2004 to support the growing critical facility market in central Virginia, and then rapidly expanded to take on numerous projects in other sectors. Over the past two decades, we’ve helped design cost-effective building infrastructure to meet the diverse facility needs of our financial, technology, government, healthcare, critical facilities, industrial, and institutional clients. Our location allows us to provide on-site assistance as needed and, in many cases, to act as an extension of our clients’ staff.

Our projects range from healthcare and university building systems that are designed to be more efficient, comfortable, and safe, to data center projects that enhance the region’s technical connectivity and capacity, to a major new manufacturing development that will be a long-term economic driver in the area. Through our longstanding relationships with leading universities in the region, such as Virginia Commonwealth University, Virginia State University and Northern Virginia Community Colleges, we upgrade campus buildings and infrastructure in compliance with the Virginia Statewide Building Code, Virginia CPSM, and Virginia DEB.

Our team enjoys everything that the historic city of Richmond has to offer. We’re committed to contributing to the local community through events such as our annual food drives as well as a mentorship program that helps area firms work on international school projects.
